Working with the vertical leadership model championed by the Centre for Creative Leadership (US, 2017), declaring that “If horizontal development is about transferring information to the leader, vertical development is about transformation of the leader.”

The session opens with consideration of the wide benefits of a growth mindset and vertical leadership before participants consider ways to utilise the strengths to best utilise a growth mindset and determine which aspects of vertical leadership might provide them with the most strategic pathway.
